Lucas in Transfer Case? [Archive]

I have a 92 YJ with a Teralow 4:1. If you have a Teralow you know that it can whine, even in 2wd if the front driveshaft spins.

I was considering putting a bottle of Lucas in the transfer case. Lucas says it is "perfect" for transfer cases. I was hoping it would quiet the Teralow.

Has anyone done this? The reason I ask is because the transfer case takes ATF, but Lucas looks like a think oil. And I am speaking about regular Lucas, not transmission lucas.

Not positive but since it takes ATF,I would use the tranny stuff.I put the regular stuff in my diffs and Dana300.Really quited down the lockers.
