I just bought a 95 Cherokee 4.0 to swap with my 2.5L in my 95YJ. The fan is located to the left near the alternator (shown below). Will this be a problem once I start running it in my YJ, or do I have to change it?

You'll have to move it to the middle. The wrangler radiator is taller and skinnier than the low/wide XJ radiator.

Stock YJ fan bolts onto the Water pump pulley. Relocate it there, I dont remember if I had to buy a new pulley to do that.

The proper fan for a YJ would help also...

So I can't use the XJ fan, I have to use a YJ fan? I don't have my YJ fan anymore because it was sold with the engine.

If I remember right, the XJ fan is almost 3" smaller in diameter. Less cooling...

Hmmm. The XJ and YJ utilize the same 4.0, so I wonder how much of a difference it really makes. I really wish I would have removed that fan from the 2.5L.
