1992 Dodge 3/4 Ton, 4x4, extra cab...

Cummins Turbo Diesel. This is the 5.9, all mechanical Cummins! Rated at 160 horse/400 lbs of torque stock. This is the first year of the intercooler.

With minor work on the pump (4 screws to turn..I have the guide to follow...very simple!) you can run it up to around 250 horse/650 lbs of torque. I have not done this yet...no gauges to monitor so I didn't risk anything. So it's pretty much bone stock.

The truck has a automatic with overdrive...and it was just freshly rebuilt 5k miles ago. All brand new parts to the tune of $1800. Have reciepts.

The only modifications done to the truck: I removed the muffler to straight pipe it. Reduces EGT's when pulling and gives it that big truck sound. It's not super loud but $50 bucks puts it back to stock quiet if the sound is too much for you. I also removed the stock air box and put a BHAF in it's place for a homemade cold air intake. The filter used is off a OTR Peterbuilt..so it flows plenty of air. I have the stock air box to put back in if you don't care for the open air filter.

This truck is loaded. LE model (limited Edition) so it has all the power options..windows, locks, cruise control, A/C...and everything works.

The A/C has been converted over to the newer R134 and all relevant parts replaced (A little over $900..have receipt)

I am the third owner. I have a 3 ring binder with records back to 1999 with every oil change, new part put on the truck, ect. The PO was very serious about the care of this truck. It has new brakes put on ($650), the A/C, the transmission, full alignment...there is absolutely nothing this truck needs. For the age and mileage, it's as clean as it comes! I also have a service manual to goes with the truck.

I just did a recent service on it. The tires are newer (70-80%) and I just put brand new shocks on it 2 months ago. This truck is not lifted or leveled out with the stock size 31" tires.

It comes with a fifth wheel hitch (rated at 20k) and is wired to pull both 5'ers and bumper pulls (7 pin round and inline 4). Of course it comes with a brake controller.

Has a CB mounted and a brand new JVC CD player.

The colors are tan and maroon. The interior is tan. The body is SUPER straight. This is the original paint! The only "bad" part is the typical early Dodge paint problem. The hood and top of cab are well faded (the rest of the paint is in great shape) so it could use some paint on both parts to make it look near new again!

Around town I average 16-17 mpg. On the freeway, 19-20 mpg. Loaded with my trailer and toys, 12-14 mpg. You can't complain considering I cross the scales at close to 17k!!! Gotta love the Cummins.

The only reason I'm selling this truck is it does not have a bench seat in the extra cab. It has two jumpers. That is fine for small kids and dogs, but my family is growing and I need the room of a newer truck. I could possibly be interested in a newer truck as part trade. I would only consider a Dodge with a Cummins...and a manual transmission and 4x4. Quad cab is a MUST.

I've towed all over Oregon and Washington without any issues. The PO pulled a 35 foot 5'er all over the Western States. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere.

My price is $8,000. I consider this a fair price considering all the new parts of the truck and low mileage for the age (currently at 144k) and you can not buy a truck with a bullet proof drivetrain like this one anymore. King pin D60 front axle with lockouts, Cummins, automatic mated to a NP205 cast iron T-case, D70 rear. Both axles have 3.54 gears and powerlock limited slips in them. Both are very tight and not worn out. The truck has not been wrecked, all paint and body parts are OEM.

Hopefully I've given enough information! If you would like to see pictures please email me.

Those who have emailed and PM'd me, pics will come this weekend. I have your email addressed saved but I will post them in this thread also. Sorry, the truck is not my DD, just a tow rig and it's parked with my trailer 40 miles from my house. And I'm working. :D

I only have one REALLY crappy picture on my computer..but I'll post it anyway. You'll get a idea of the color atleast.
