I'm fabbin up a link suspension for the back end of my 78 K5. I'm going to run coil overs up front but I'd like to run some production vehicles coils in the back for space saving reasons. My initial assumption was to run with Bronco front springs but I'm worried about them being to stiff for the light K5 rear end and possible lack of flex. I'm sure someone has gone down this road so spam me with ideas. I'm looking for soft and flexy!

Or...

Anyone have links to a custom coil shops near SoCal? Bring it on!

This is the thread that I posted a few days ago. I am doing a similar swap on my 76.

We used 4" Pro comp TJ coils. 160 lb/inch with three link rears.

Used em on a 502 Powered FJ40, 2 CJ 7's and a Full size Blazer.

All worked well.

4" Pro Comp TJ coils, cool. Do you have any other pics of the full size link suspension of Frankenstein? I'm looking at dual A links like the following but I've already redeisned a bit based upon teh distance between the links for flex and johnny joints replaced with radius arm bushings, or vertically mounted heims... I'm still up in the air on this. I'm still changin my lengths as well, top will be longer than the bottom to by just a bit to keep the pinion pointed up.
