Yeah you know why? Because they know once you get come height and some real tires using their JEEP parts you will bee able to spank them on any thing using the same parts they got.
We got plenty down her in FL though, everybody wants to go big. Have a nice day

Thanks I have two sets. I think I'm going to put the shackles in the front. Know of any pro's and con's?

front shackles ride rough, rear shackles require a long travel driveline. The mounts are no big deal. You can buy new mounts from a dealer or make new ones. I use some custom bent angle iron for my mounts.

I gotta say I love my yj conversion with the missing links from Trail Tough, they work great for me and flex great

I love the YJs with the shackle reversal. Here's the product review article I wrote about a year and a half ago:
http://www.off-road.com/suzuki/reviews/cssuspension.htm

Since then, I munched a set of 5-pack rear springs. There was too much spring wrap, especially with the SUMO gears. I combined all 4 leaves from a set of 4-packs with 2 leaves from a set of 5-packs to make a set of springs that has 2 long, 2 medium, and 2 short leaves, all stepped from short to long. Not only did it bring the rear up to the proper height, but it also eliminated about 80% (WAG) of my spring wrap. I have no problem with spring wrap anymore, and the springs have held up very well. Problem solved. And no need for a traction bar.

BTW, I love the shackle reversal up front. It allows one tire to climb vertically while the other 3 move forward horizontally, and there's no driveline bind....because the front tires move rearward as they move upward. Kind of hard to explain, but there's a lot less lurching when playing in the big rocks. It just rockcrawls a lot smoother than with non-reversed shackles, and there's none of the problem with the front springs bending (especially a problem with Missing Links up front) if a front tire comes up against a big rock that the tire doesn't want to roll up and over.

I also have the 4leaf wrangler packs in the rear and I want to beef them up.I am running missing links front and rear ,no probs yet but not a whole lot of serious trails here mostly mud and twisty jeep trails with fallen trees

is the big complaint with the missing links ride?offroad handleing?flex?I was just wondering because I hear alot about the ses characteristics and I must just be easy to please cuz mine work great, they are smooth on the road and flex great. Now I have not put the front end in a bind yet as to cause the spring to want to bend under the truck ,that makes me worry because I have a Tellico trip coming up and have basically and untested vehicle.Just want to know what to look out for when hittin it hard
