I do agree that a Jeep makes a better rockcrawler. While the mog does have some cool components, it is too big for most trails.

I was over at the UniMog guys place locally here. Dirk is his name and he has quite the collection of stuff. He is German and goes back over there and imports them. He then fixes them up to customer specs and sells them for anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000. I mean what a great entrepenuer. Its a nich market thing and he is doing something he loves and its way cool to boot. Thoes Mogs are the shit when it comes to heavy duty.

So to change the topic, what are guys dooing when using Mog outers? I see Avalance is doing 9" centers with a reduction hub.. Anyone else doing like 60s or 70s with the mog outers? I could be convinced to run a hybrid axle combo if Dirk will sell them to me cheap enough. Hmmm Front and rear steer 60 hybrid front with mog outers, and 70 rear with mog outers. I like the sound of that. BTW the mog axle shafts are fawkin huge and like a 6-8 spline. Wow beefy.

Who has more info on that mog pictured above? I would love to see a spec sheet. Is it running the tranny and motor as well from a mog?
