Hey guys, I wanted to see how the 4wd was and tried shifting, it was extremely hard so I decided since I just installed my SYE I should take off my TC Drop. I did that and still the same, as of right now its stuck between 2 H and 4 H.I try to push it all the way into 2 H and it wont go, it just pushes back up to sittin in between, and then I try to pull it all the way back and it goes some of the way but no indicator lights come on. I am wonderin if I could have messed up while doing my SYE

removeing your tc drop is what did it, check your linkage, i bet its binding right where you describe, you may need to replace some of the bushings and what have you in it, or adjust it.

its my impression that a tc drop replaces the stock tc linkage, so by removeing it and not removeing the linkage that came with the tc drop kit, you should have a bind(common sense, no?), throw your stock shit back on there and call it a day.

syes are pretty dummy proof, unlikely you fucked that up.

but...stranger things have happened.

BTW newbie forum FTW

Yeah that might be it. But yesterday before the SYE was in it was fine then when I put it on /with tc drop still on it doesnt work. Could it be that I didnt cut the selector in the TC short enough?
