Hey,
I found a set of MORE YJ mounts to put the 350 in a YJ for sale, unused, by someone who switched projects...so I got them at a great price.
My original intention was to run a EB D20 (just did a full rebuild on one) behind my manual tranny--already have the adpater--, but due to axle opportunites I now have, I will probably be running a D300 (I can easily use this with the tranny).
For those who don't know about the MORE mounts they are designed to index to existing holes in the frame, and offset the engine 1" to the passenger side (obviously designed to be used with a driver's drop case).
My question is...do you think that if I install the MORE mounts (I have to run the EB D20 for a short while) and then put the 300 in there that I will have driveshaft clearance issues? I am SOA with Waggy front springs.
I'm also thinking about reversing them and drilling a new indexing hole in the frame, but 've still some more measuring/thinking to do on this idea.
Thanks,
Charly
