I need some long, say about 36", front brakelines. I searched and decided to pirate it after googling it. Where do they come from? Reasonable, I hope. :cool2:

I had mine (38 inches) made at the local hydrolic shop... they ran me 90 bucks for the pair, but they are very high quality 3 piece design with -an fittings.

Im pretty sure there is a vender on the board who makes custom brake lines... Check the venders forum

Thanks. There's at least one hydraulic shop here in town. I met a guy in Moab who told me to get it from a speed shop around Oakland, Ca., but I couldn't find the one he was talking about.

I got the make-it-yourself Earls fittings and hose from Summit and they worked great. Easy to assemble, no leaks and exact length. 3an size

Iv'e heard a bunch of people recommend speedway motors...that is what I originally used, but one of them developed a kink much easier than it should have. I replaced it with one from afco (LINK) (www.afcoracing.com) and it has done alot better, thicker braiding, better fittings. In reality to get the fittings and lengths you need you might have to mix and match pieces from different sources.

That's a good link. Thanks. I can actually find the parts I may need. I won't get it done today. Probably tomorrow. Gotta make sure I get the right parts to go from YJ to Chevy D60.
