I found this wierd looking t-case at the junkyard. It's out of a datsun king-cab the outputs are droped directly down. It's also a divorced case. I have been looking at it and it seems that it will be easily swaped into my xj with a little cutting and welding on the shafts. I robbed the tranny imput from my np 242 and I'm gonna weld it to the shaft on the divorced case and adapt the driveshafts accordingly. this is only a temp fix until I can buy a 231. I was wondering if any body knows about this t-case and if I could possibly double it up to the 231 in the future?????
