: Binder Bulletin
NotQuiteSane 04-20-2002, 09:55 AM Old Scout & Hayrakers harrasment of the newbie got me thinking.
When (if) you do goto the BB, what sections do you read reguarly, and how often do you post?
I visit about once a month, read dieseltalk & the Oregon club page. skim over tech.
as for posts, I average .11 a day (20 total) while here is 1.19 (255 posts)
Hayraker 04-20-2002, 12:57 PM I never registered for the new board, I used the old one for a week or two when I first bought the scout, but there was too much crap to wade thru, I found all the info I needed to get mine running on Toms page.
I'll go over there and read a little when somebody over here posts a link or talks about some "controversial" thread, otherwise I don't visit. I am glad its there tho, it definitely serves a purpose.
Chad H 04-20-2002, 04:57 PM BB is fine, I just hate the way the board is setup for messages, I like this format better.......
oiler 04-22-2002, 08:17 AM diesel talk and the classifids. thats about it.
Hooper 04-22-2002, 08:52 AM I check several times a day, and post in reply to anything I think I can contribute to. I am an equal opportunity poster. :) And, if we answer simpler tech questions on that board, folks will continue to use it to get the answers they need, and we can continue to focus on higher level tech questions here.

I like this board as is. High tech, so to speak. If folks don't get their questions answered over there, they will come over here, and we will start having to wade through blinker fluid changes, and what not. If we support the BB, answer the questions when we can over there, it will keep this board at a higher tech level so we can focus on what we are doing, without having to start at step one for everything.
So, get over there and start answering questions!!! Besides, I don't want to see Old Scout blow a gasket!!! :D

The Fleckster 04-23-2002, 01:01 AM I just got me a new 16 ton pipe bender for bending some things like my 1" dom and my solid stainless steel Tierods and draglinks.
If ya come over ya can borrow it......
I like the BB's new v-bulletin. Its a nicer format. It has some nice people, and some interesting topics, (diesel talk) but no where near the interesting (to me) shit thats on the General board about general stuff like Hydro steering and such. I think its more geared for the standard buildup stuff not the wild crazy shiat we do here.
See my update to Project X about the Mog Hybrid axles. Figured that out last night.

nwmud 04-23-2002, 06:46 AM I visit the BB often. I like the friendliness of that board. I enjoy the format. I get some questions answered. I visit the Northwest page, tech, classified, and what ever hits me at the time.
I come here cause I like the shiat that is added to the post. :flipoff2: Life is too short to take too seriously. This is among my favorite places to web wheel and enjoy a cold
