On the search i found where camo mentioned his fluid level on his full hydro moves 1/8 of an inch due to a large remote resevoir..
i have mine hooked up GM pump and resevoir. through a hydro assist brake then to the orbital through a 15000 lbs tranny cooler and back to the resevoir. after idleing for a while i get real hot and off course eventually boil over...
so can you tell me more about capacity of the remote tank...I am thinking maybe another cooler in the back of the rig and a small pipe tank 1 gallon or so this will add bunch more fluid and cooling ????
am i close ???

did you mean to say that the only amount of p.s. fluid
that you have in the system is in the small pump's reservoir?

if so, then this is the problem, since you do have a cooler,
which is a good thing.

i think you should have a remote reservoir of about 1
gallon, give or take.

that would definitely solve the problem.

Where do you get a good orbital valve ?

Do any of you guys have pics of how the orbital valve mounts to the steering shaft

go to the search key and put in hydraulic steering or hydro steering about 12-14 hits will pop up. someone on one of those threads goes through and gives you all the possible companies.there product part numbers etc....also the other threads will explain a bunch on how it works etc...on road issues. return to center...steering without the engine running.
i personnaly bought my orbital from a tractor slavage place..cylinder from www.baileynet.com.....
1st start if you need to picutre it stop and look at a tractor..that will help fabbing the steering shaft etc
