Well I got permission to run this one. No problems there. Parking of trailers will be a problem ??? Oh well sacrafices have to be made right.

Trailers are a good idea. Or at least AAA plus.

Winches are manditory. No one should try this without one. And I dont want to be there when someone does.
(jason B can back me up on this one)

I figure that Welby wants to try out his new lockers and winch so this will be a great place. Nice and close to home. Short and hard.

Here is the general layout description as I see it.

Entrance- easy, quad trail down hill into the valley.
part 1-- not hard not easy- muddy creek crossings several down then up down then up's
part 2-- harder creek crossings muddy/rocky up hill and off camber
part 3-- very hard up out of creekbed on off camber then up several large (even by west coast standards) rocks Slab type.
part 4- getting off the slab rocks will not be easy as they have a drop off the tops and then you have to go up on just dirt.
This will be the winch manditory part.

So I need help with the name... We have to have a good one.
The entire trail will be about 1/2 mile or so, start to finish.

We have permission to be on it, no fish will be hurt, no wildlife will suffer, no neighbors will get pissed, no cops will complain, and as long as no-one litters the area will stay clean, Except for the carnage left behind :D

Hey that might be a good name for the trail..
CARNAGE LEFT BEHIND.
What do you think?

the name sounds ok, but do you think that some dumb ass punks will leave carnage behind, that is what you dont want.
how about "MUDDY CREEK"

good point, maybee,

carnage alley would be better. It looks kinda like an alley. or even the little sluice, There is plenty of room for spectators to watch. :D Just like the little sluice.

Bert,
Can't wait to check it out.. I just got back from Creek Hills. Went by myself though, which sucked...Didn't get into anything too rough, but wanted to test those puppies out...Man what a difference.. Ahhhh yes :D

Poser pic, I can't wait to run this whole trail up. This is the new one that's all rock for about 1/4 mile up the hill.

Come up with some cheesy name that doesn't sound so tough. The last two trails we opened are Fruity Pebbles, and Rice Krispies. They sound stupid, but they are some of the nastiest we have. This way people have no idea what to think.

If this dam rain ever stops, I want to walk the trail first and make sure there are no man made obsticals... Ya know cars/trucks/abandon in the hollow. I spoke with the owner at the entrance and they are cool with it. She said that quads go down there and play all the time and noone has ever complained. The only thing I want to double check on is debris left in the hollow and the exact spot we will be exiting.

The exit spot is very important. It could mean we will be forced to turn around like a cauldisac and run it both ways... If that is the case. This trail will be extreemely hard. I couldn't even think of the roll potential if we have to turn around.

 When the rain stops I'll take the digital camera and shoot some pics, then post them on my home page.

Hang in there, we are waiting on the weather.

Location, Westmoreland county, Bell Twp. Near AVONMORE. but not in Avonmore. Jason B has seen it too.
