I've got my shit all torn apart and before I bolt my bellhousing back up and install everything , would it be a bad idea to paint inside it? I have some high temp 1500* paint I just dont want it to rust if thats an issue if not I'm just going to paint the outside.
I'm just making sure before I bolt all this up. I figured it would be bad to paint the inside.
And how can you tell if oil is leaking from your tranny into the bellhousing? The seal between the tranny and bellhousing broke and we figured it was just the main bearing and seal gone but there is a lot of shit gunked up on the shaft going into the tranny. (Input shaft ?? :confused: ).
