Trying to find the sensor for the gauge. Not showing it in manual and I cant find it. Any clues. The gauge is irratic. Assume that is what it is, although anyone else got ideas on what makes them jump around. Like to replace it either way though,.

I think it is in the coolant crossover pipe in the back of the engine near the firewall on that version of the 3.2.

cliffsnotes: its at the back of the engine and tough to see. people suggest loosening the trans mount bolts and tipping the drivetrain forward a few inches with a jack for better access.
