I am have my axles rebuilt and rear geared to 4.88's. My question is my stock hubs are shot and I need to replace them. I have manual hubs on it from the factory. I want to buy a set of Mile markers from summit for 95.00. But a guy at advance said I had to buy a extra converison kit to put the hubs on ? I though sinces I had manauls I'll I need was a new set to fit. Help if you know... I know nothing about toyota's..

Go to the junkyard and get some used Toyota one's in good shape. Clean reseal them. The aftermarket one's aren't worth messing with. Why do you feel you stock one's are shot?

please do your self a favor and get aisin hubs. They are stronger than most aftermarket hubs and a problem alot of my friends have had to deal with using warns and other aftermarket hubs is getting hung up on them, they are often larger than the aisin hubs.

Have you taken your locking hubs apart?

Most of the inner workings of an Aisin Manual Locking Hub can be replaced and rebuilt.
