So I'm replacing my cluth right, and everything is seperated right... but I had oil leaking from somewere. I had to put a lot of oil in the motor before I stoped driving, before work I put literaly two quarts of cheap shit in and by the time I got off from close there was a dark puddle under my Jeep. EPA would have killed me. Glad I don't live in california.

So basicly I want to know if there is a good way to tell if its leaking form the tranny. I can move it around, nothing comes out of it, but then again nothing comes out of the motor which still have a lot of oil in it.

Seems as though you have answered your own question. Trans oil is different than motor oil and you make no mention of adding oil to the trans. If the trans is still full then it's a done deal.

True, already thought of that, but wanted to make sure. I don't know how much exactly is supposed to be in the tran, it dosnt cover the top of the gears but goes more then half way up them.

Just wanted to make sure.
