Went to two salvage yards to day and picked up 3 set of eldorado disc brake calipers. I would have had 4 sets but one of the lug nuts started spinning on me.

I also went all over town trying to find rebuild kits for them, I got enough to do 4. So here I am. Is there anything I need to be worried about before doing this?

Is there going to be a issue if I BEAD blast the aoutside of the caliper?

I am keeping two, the others will be put up here for sale when completed. ( And no not to ream you )

take care all

Bead em all ya want on the outside....
Easy to rebuild, use lotsa brake fluid.... Get the right tool, installer for the piston helps.....

I've done a few, and don't have any special tools. When installing the piston, I put the seal in first, and used compressed air to blow the seal around the piston while putting it in. Autozone has the rebuild kits for 1/2 or 1/3 of what the other stores do, and usually in stock, too.
