Question about new fuel gauge, which one to order

I have a 89 Wrangler that is mostly stock. I want to replace the guages with Auto Meter gauges and need to know what fuel level gauge to order. What is the Ohm range of the stock unit?

I have a 2 1/16 autometer phantom guage for your application. I think its 74 ohms full and 10 empty if I remember right, PM me if you are interested.

thanks. I ordered a trans temp gauge last night and wanted to research prices for matching gauges to make a full set. I got the Autometer ultra light series. Thanks for the info though, the Phantom series was my first pick, but I changed my mind at the last minute. Too late now.
I just needed to know which fuel gauge was the right one.

hey does anyone know if its the same for an xj and what wire coming off the tank is for the gauge some how mine is backwards e=full lol
