Brother in law and myself used a Dana 44 out of a mid 70's GM to do a SOA on his CJ-5. The front axle is located 2 inches farther forward than stock and rides under wrangler spring packs. I know this topic has been covered but I couldn't find much useful info in the page after page of search results. So here it is: If we don't want to go high steer and are full width, what can we use for the steering linkages? Is there a tierod arm that the draglink will attach to without running into clearance issues with the leaf spring?

Flame away!!!!!!!!!!!!! (give me a link while your at it)!!!

Try this link for crossover steering using chevy stearing components. Also you can't forget Billavista's excellent steering pages.

Hope this helps.
