I'm building my second Jeep. It has 44's front and rear and a spring over. It has a worn out 360 in it. I have a chevy 350 I wanna put in it and a T-18 with a Dana 20 TC. I wanna lift the motor and trans and TC so I can run a flat skidplate. I don't want any part of the drivetrain below the frame so I can use a heavy duty full length skidplate. What do I need to do? THNX

this just sounds liek a bad idea, raising that stuff will kill your COG and you will have to notch out for d-shafts anyway, why do you HAVE to run a flat skid? make more sence to just make it around the stuff

You can get the xfercase above the framerails easily by clocking it. theres a lot of flat skids out there that tuck the tranny/xfercase nicely. The engine is another story given the oilpan. You can slightly raise the engine with lifted motor mounts, but that also increases the angle and i dont know if it will pull the oilpan up where you want it. That and your front driveline angle comes into play more. But why screw with it.... I would just build a heavy skid for it.
If you can get your front axle pumpkin and driveline over a big enough rock that it wedges up under the motor without decimateing all those parts first, you need a better spotter :D
