I was just wondering if 77 360ci rebiult, would have close motor mounts to the ones in a dakota, and would a dakota be strong enough for this motor??

Should be a bolt up in place of a 318. Just note: that 360 put out 160 hp (a toyota 3.4l v6 puts out 185 hp)

but im puttting all performance parts on it, every single thing is getting a new, wilder cam with the lifters with a dual plane intake and a pretty big 4 barrel and the list goes on,
You guys think that a dokata would be able to handle that motor?????

A buddy and I put a 85 318 into a 89 Dakota. We had to fab and oil pan and mounts. We used the stock 3.9 transmission and torque converter and rear dump (car) exhaust manifolds. You will have problems with radiator clearance and have to fab some wiring as well. Don't know how things will hold up yet as the swap is not complete yet.

I think that if you used the newer magnum block that the mounts will bolt up, but not sure. You can easily fab an oil pan using the V8 pan and the V6 sump/pickup.

EDIT- the yoda vs mopar hp numbers are by no means an accurate comparison. HP is not what moves your vehicle, torque does. HP is just a product of torque and RPM. TOTAL cylinder pressure produces torque, and 5.9L will produce more torque than 3.4L at a lower RPM.
