:mad3: I have looked and looked but cannot find out who sells the fiberglass high clearance hoods with the "fenders" built in. I appreciate any help.

Quadtratec lists some one piece front ends with fenders and front clip build into one piece but I don't know about high clearence. Might be worth looking into.

I don't know about this specific product, but fiberglass sucks in general. An impact makes it crunch rather than dent like sheet metal. It looks cool though, but I would come up with some sort of fender lining for looks and so the engine and all that isn't completely exposed.

Goat1 rolled in a moab hot tub with his. He patched it up and it is back on. Looks almost as good as mine.

Btw, this thread has alternate vendors.

I like the looks of the Chris Durham hood. Where are they available from? I am not too worried about fiberglass, I don't spend too much time upside down.

That sounds like "famous last words", however, I found it interesting that the website of shown earlier indicated "that due to the fragile nature of these hoods, special packing is required" (or something along those lines).

That does not bode well for any impact resistance, have you considered having a body shop do some (re-) fabbing?
