I installed the Powertrax NoSlip in my Ford 8.8 daily driver and have been extremely impressed with it. I am not extreme and this is my daily driver, so I was looking for the most "streetable" locker I could find. If this was a trailer queen I would have installed something else, but for a lunchbox locker I could not have asked for better performance.
I hear it is understandably a little jerky with a manual, but I have an automatic tranny and it is almost transparent on the street. Unless I really hit the gas in a corner or otherwise go out of my way to purposely lock it, it won't chirp tires, click, or do anything else on the street. On the trail it locks fine. I have run Moab Rim, Hells Revenge, Holy Cross, Tellico, and other places and it has not let me down yet. Once again, my experience is with the Ford 8.8 and I cannot speak for other units, but I would think the NoSlip would perform similarly in all of the other diffies it is made for.
If your 4x4 is also your daily driver I cannot imagine a better choice to make.
