2000 wrangler axle ratio ?

What is the stock axle ratio for a 2000 wrangler sport ? (6 / auto w/231 tc / D35) And yes did tried the "search" thingy, I'm guessing 3.55 or maybe 3.73?

3.07 or 3.73 is what they offered that year.... and 4.10 was a 4 cyl standard ratio ... in 99 was the last year they offered a 3.55 .

CreepyCrawler - thanks... just happen to pick up a copy of "JP" magazine, it has an article about the '97-'06 Wranglers. For the 2000 w/ auto it's the D35 - 3.73's.
Knuckelhead - the 3.07's were only with the sticks and the I6. My '97 XJ Sport is like that and my daughter's '98 XJ Limited has 3.55's.

Look at the housing, right side, have a litle plate with the ratio :smokin:


Iff is 00/00 D35 may be 3.7 for sure.

If you will put a LOCKER, do not worry about that you can change it to a bigger...

Or from your CHASSI number you ask in the Jeep DEALER wath is the ratio...
