ok, i can't find a set of yj's from over a month of looking and i know where a guy lives that as cj7 rear springs but don't have his #(lost it), so would it be good to put cj rears in the rear?? or are they too stiff??? i will be relocating mounts to keep my axle in the stock location also......... thanks:

dont do the rears. do the fronts. the rears are 2.5" and the fronts are 2" which makes them alomst bolt on!! stick with the fronts!!

well if you are going to relocate the hangers then go for it. if you think about it, the fronts have more weight on them than the rears anyway with most of the engine and transmission sitting over the front springs. i would go for it!! they cant be any heavier duty than wrangler springs, and people put those all 4 corners on zuks!! If memory serves, there are a lot of leaves in the rear pack of a cj but that just makes for a taller pack because each leaf is so thin!

Why wouldn't you extend the wheelbase the extra 1 1/2"?
Seems like alot of work to keep the wheelbase the same.
If all you worried about is getting a longer driveshaft, have a front one shrtened.
Come on Mike , get with the program!!!!!!!!!!
