I am going to build some rock sliders soon and I was wondering if anyone built there own, and how well they work. Got any pics? I already searched around and only found the standard vendor type. Thanks

Heres what I am doing. Im using 2x4x3/16 rectangle tube. It will have boat sides when i am done. Ill try to get a picture of how it sits now (with the tube welded in place)

Sorry for the hijack, but I was wondering if there is any reason that I should not replace my rusted rocker panels with square tubing and just screw the floor to that. It's actually on my friends 79' Scout II which is also pink : )

Dont screw anything to the floor. If your going to do it, do it right and attach them to the frame (you can still replace the rockers with the tube)

I meant screw the floor to the sliders for support of the floor, the sliders will be connected to the frame.

That's what I had was a set of D&C sliders. The design worked great. Couldn't dent them but I did dent a tube to the frame, but not bad...
