We had a blast! Guy named Travis took his '05 X in and did the whole enchilada without a problem. Ohh sure there was a few stucks and sticks and scrapes and nicks, but everyone drove home. My sas jalopy drove 15 hours there, did the trail, and drove home also without much worries. 99% of the peeps on the trail were in shock when they saw the Nissan group come rolling through. It was hardcore, but, so are Nissans! :bounce:

so a stock X made the trip? Once you catch the nissan bug, you never go back. I have a prety much stock hardbody, how difficult would it be to get that thing through the con?! I have 31's and nerf bars.

So, which one was stock. They all looked like they had a few mods or more on them?

The white '05 was the "stock" one--though by the purest sense of the word I suppose it wasn't....it had rock sliders that aren't factory, a front bumper that wasn't factory, a 2" suspension lift, and 33" tires...It still retained all the factory "skids", IFS, and gearing...does come with a factory locker which I would imagine helped immensely....

Don't forget the Manual tranny:eek:
We all had a great time! Looking forward to the next run.

Looks like it ws an awesome trip. I caught all the pics on N4W. How many times does that make for you Marty? Your Xterra is still lookin good...especially considering the crazy lines you take with it! :smokin: I miss that NorCal wheeling for sure...not the same in the East.

Yes, it was a great trip. that makes it 3 full runs through and who knows how many day runs in. I wouldn't call them crazy lines, how do you think I spotted the other Xterras thru:D .

How the hell is that stock.. that pretty much sums up 80% of the vehicles used for wheeling. Stock is stock is it not? I'm not one to consider a lift and bigger tires are non-stock hardcore crap.

I just don't think its stock enough to brag about the hardcoreness of a nissan..

From where I was sitting, it looked stock. Sounds like you have a little issue with Nissans, get over it. And this is the Nissan section so bragging about a Nissan going to the mall is acceptable here, or in other words:flipoff2:

Marty, the 35's look great! You've got a great combination of functional mods to your Xterra and it appears to be working well!

Congrats on another successful Rubicon Trip.

I saw a bunch of the pics over on XOC I think...pretty nice looking trip. What's his name does have a point a lift and bigger tires isn't exactly stock...

And i don't think you can say you spanked the rubicon unless you took it through the sluice and the soup bowl...etc

Besides, an X is really a pathfinder. (wd22 Vs pathy WD21) :D

cool ride anyway!
