I've seen Eric's handy work, if you value your rockers at all, get some sliders, then take his advice.

You'll definatly want to get it up in the air. I've taken my wifes 94' with 35" MTR's and OME springs and E lockers out on the easier runs and when they get hung up it's like a beached whale, alot of weight there. The rear lower control arms will bend fairly easily on the rocks too. If you've got a 94 or older you'll have to make your own sliders unless someone has come out with some now. I still wouldn't wheel the hardcore stuff, too much sheet metal,$$$.

remove all plastic bits, fender flares, plastic rear bumper corners, front cheesey ass bumper, plastic mud flaps etc.. Go custom on the front and rear bumpers to help approach and departure angles. The ARB front bumper is not a rockcrawling bumper, very poor clearance and weak d-ring attachment points. The rear factory bumper is also the rear frame cross member, it will act like a nice anchor in the rocks, skid plate it, or remove it and go with a custom rear bumper. Rocksliders for sure on your rocker panels. Get 35's, but you will definetly want gears as she will become a very slow beast. Lockers if you do not have the factory e-lockers. T-case skid plate. A new flat/oval muffler to get rid of the big round Toyota muffler, tuck the exhaust up nice and high while your at it. Oh yeah, cut that roof off!!!
