I am running a dual fuel system on my lc. There is only one mixture screw and one idle screw. But it does not seem to matter what position I run the idle screw in.
It has a Impco E and 425 setup. Any help would be handy. Thanks....
Or if you know someone that is good with propane that would help too :D

dual fuel because I am paranoid....
The cruiser still has the old 2F in it so power is not all that anyway...
The problem is that it does not want to idle very well but has good power everywhere else.
I can call tomorrow and thanks.
You may want to call Roy, very knowledgeable on propane setups.

Hi Jason, I have a Impco 300a carb and Type L regulator running on a 2F. Tuning the idle is normally a little tricky. It doesn't behave like a normal carb and speed up and slow down smoothly when you turn the idle screw but if you fiddle with it long enough you should find the sweet spot eventually.
Other things which help are making sure your spark is in good shape (new points, timing etc...) and turning the idle up a little on the petrol carb (this will increase the lpg idle speed). If you are mainly running on lpg you can advance the timing by three degrees for better performance but this may make it ping on petrol.
There is a yahoo group on automotive lpg. You could try that for some more information.

I have a dual fuel set-up as well but want to convert over to LPG only! Anybody looking for a dual fuel set-up? Or know of someone who has an LPG only set-up for sale? It would be even better if they wanted to trade!:D
