If your looking for moderate. :D You can run some trails up above Soda Springs behind Kidd and Cascade Lakes. Nice views and not too rough. Or exit at Cisco Grove and take Rattlesnake Creek up to Fordyce Dam, Lola Montez and Lake Sterling. Below Fordyce you can walk down (if your wheeler can't handle the trail) to the last rive crossing and get a feel for what Fordyce looks like. Have fun.

Cisco Grove, take the Cisco Grove exit, turn left towards the hill, turn left again, and go wandering around up there, good day trip

Depending on what you call moderate. Cisco Grove is just a fire road with ruts. If you go to Cisco, hang a left on the first REAL road. There have been a lot of jackasses up there lately, trying to make their own roads. Mostly quad guys. But that road will bring you to the top of Signal Peak. There is an old lookout at the top.

From there you can follow the road around the towers and go down to the Fordyce staging. this is where it gets moderate. About halfway down there are some decent sized rocks. The big storms and 10 different melts we had this year moved some decent sized rocks into the middle of it. My buddy does it with 32's and ifs and I plan on doing it this weekend in my Xterra. I'm letting the wife drive the Toyota.

I also prefer to start at the Eagle Lakes staging and come out at Cisco, only because it goes up hill for most of the beginning. It's a great place to do test runs. If you want to drag it out even longer you could run up to Eagle Lakes or the Pierce ohv area. The Eagle Lakes trip will give you a better idea what Fordyce is really about. But not so bad that it will beat you up to bad. I've been in there with the Xterra when it still had the dealer plates.

If you want PM me, I'll give you my # and we can hook up. It will be me and 3 others. From built to the Toyota on 32's.
