I finished all of the wiring and plumbing on the 16v today. After being apart nearly a year it was a major milestone. I was really nervous because it was a huge project... combining parts from a sami, a kick, and a toy...but believe it or not the sucker started right up!!!

Yeah it ran horrible, but I had a hunch what it was...then Jason Coker popped by and helped me figure out the firing order, I switched the plug wires and VIOLA it ran great.

I am so happy I'm wizzing my pants!

Heck up in Ukiah, where I'm moving in a few weeks, its still ok to take the J Deere for a run to the Store...You dont even need to get your rig smogged! I think I'll wait and see on the flaps, but fatty I need pics whenever theres tittys and cowboy hats!

We bought a tow rig from a cowboy and it came with a Cowboy hat holder, dual antennas, bug deflecter with chicks on the front, lit running boards and the mud flaps with the chicks and the little reflectors. We call it the cowboy Cadilac. Needless to say alot of shit had to come off, so I've got new set of flaps sitting in the shop waiting to get mounted.:D

Actually I'm planning on cutting out the fenders but I have the urge to smash up the body before I cut it, also I don't want to lock a tire in the front wheel well with my stock zuk axle. I'll cut it up when I put the Toys in.:smokin: :D

couple things- don't know if they'll help, but......

if you don't know BEWARE :D
my stock filler hose self destucted when i was taking it off a few years ago. so i measured up the diameter of the filler spigot end (inside the cab) at 2" +/- O.D.
got some hideously $$$$ industrial fuel hose, and discovered when going to put it on, that the freakin gas tank spigot was aprox. 1,3/4" O.D.:mad: it never occured to me that they would change the two diameters! i mean WTF? why? dammit:D
that royally pissed me off.
i ended up having to cut a section off the old stock hose, to use inside the new hose as a "sleeve".
it worked, but defeated the purpose of what i was doing and made it just a "oh, i guess it'll have ta do" job. grrrrrrrr.


second thing- i got the hose from an industrial hose supplier called "Greenline" they make cooool (but $$$) shit.
