the same people who make revolvers make z boxes... they go on the other end of the spring and allow that end to droop about 4 inches...

:flipoff2: :flipoff2: for being a retarded newbie
:flipoff2: :flipoff2: for asking a stupid question and really looking like a newbie
:flipoff2: :flipoff2: because obviously none of the 1000 other people on the board give a :nuke: about your question
so why not go to their website and ask them about their wast of money:flipoff2: :flipoff2:
ohhh and welcome newbie.......:flipoff2: :flipoff2: dont get all flustered newbie:flipoff2: it makes you look :rainbow: when you get mad!!

lets see... if you dont know something... should you ask? Or just be as stupid, and childish? Am I on Pirate4x4.com or RomperRoom.com? The reason I wouldnt go to their website and ask is, that I would like to talk to someone who has tried them but is not paid by the company... Why are you on this website if you don't want information? Trolling for queers, or little boys?

Well I think you all should bow down and praise the newbie (ME) :flipoff2:
After giving the kid a hard time I decided to do at least one decent thing today and help him out---- go to www.teraflx.com, Go to catalog, find z-box under Revolver components, and click on "more details."
There's even a...... yeah that's right, picture! :D
1 more thing- how come I always get razzed by the Canadians and Mormons?!? :flipoff2: j/k guys
You all can thank me later and don't write back later saying its only for YJ's cuz I helped you enough already!

I actually know what you're talking about. I saw them in prototype in Las Cruces a couple of years ago. They were first developed by Metal Made Rite (Curt Hildebran), the guy that originated the 'Revolvers' a few years ago. He has since sold the design to Terraflex (I think).
When the spring is at a standstill, the static end of the spring (not the shackle side) has the unit sandwiched between the spring mount and the frame. It looks like a hinge running parrallel to the frame - on both sides of the frame rail. When the rig tips to the left, the mount 'hinges' on the left side, when it tips to the right, it hinges on the right side. They can both 'open at once and drop the spring mount about 4" down.
I will look for pix in my box at home if anyone is interested anymore...

I wonder if they mount as the picture shows or opposite?
Picture your drivers tire drooping down . As it swings down it goes under the truck. Wouldn't it be better if the 'x-box' leaned in with it?
I have thought about doing this for years, but hatted the greasible bolt, metal on metal idea.
I wonder if they used oil-lite bushings too?
As far as simplicity goes, I still like the 'orbit eye'

Im not sure if having a moving hard mount is a good idea?? Seems a little sketchy to me!
Maybe a little axle wrap in there too??
