My driveline is hitting my oil filter pan. I'm using a Dana 44 passenger side drop in my SAS toyota with a 4.3 vortec & the 4l60e tranny.

My DriveLine keeps getting into my oil filter pan on the passenger side and was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and what you did to fix it.
Sorry for the Newbie post, new to auto trannies in the 4x4 world.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Fernando

Do a 2-piece front driveshaft.

I'm I forgot to mention I'm running dual 23 spline turbo toyota t-cases.
so I'm running an AA 4l60e adapter to the 1st toyota t-case and then an AA to the toy 2nd t-case.
I'm running a toy CV front driveline with a long slip up front.
I'm thinking I could just cut and shave the filter oil pan though I don't know if the filter will be in the way been I need it to clear in the passenger side.

the filter won't be in the way it rides in the center, the EPC solenoid is what you will have to worry about when you try to shave it.

What is the EPC soleniod?
I planning on shaving the pan right on the passenger corner at angle like this \.

EPC = electronic pressure control

If you are going to cut it in the rear pass area, there is the 1-2 accumalator tower. I believe there is room to trim some from the bottom but not much and from the side about an inch. I am building a 700r4 over the weekend I will take some dry measurements for you if you still need by then.

Not gonna be much room to trim that pan. This is the inside of a '00 4L60E out of my '00 S10-Blazer.

It's upside down in the pic. The passengers side is on the left in the pic.
