SOUTH SHORE 4X4

So I have the engine swapped, had to get a special order T.C. and flexplate to mate the old 327 to the '88 700R4 trans but it's all good now-kinda.
I also got a 4-barrel to TBI adapter plate and some basic headers from summit to make things a bit easier.
My questions are
1 The 327 is not set up for the oil cooler like the K5 350-my thinking; ditch the extra weight the vehicle never sees warm temps anyway.
2 Does an 88 K5 have any type of rev limiter or similar device???
3 The 327 front components are set up a bit differently, there is no harmonic balancer (probly why it's had to be rebuilt) and the water pump is plumbed streight to the radiator unlike the K5 which uses an additional off-board water pump on belt. the Alt is much smaller and all the belts are different-(narrower).
My idea is to just yard all the 327 components and use all the K5 B.S. in the name of simplicity and proper intigration. I'm just wondering if there is anything wrong with using a K5 Harmonic balancer on the older engine.
other than that the swap is coming along well, I can't wait to hear what it sounds like, I just ran dual streights off the headers to basic flowmaster type mufflers so it should open up pretty good.
P.S. NEED TH350 or T400 trans for my Toyo P.M. me if you got one in SAC, Placerville, Reno, CArson, Tahoe, I will come get it!!! if you have a 205 I'll take it too :smokin:
