Check all your gounds first. You'd be suprised what won't work if it is not grounded right.

after that try checking your voltage at the ecm plugs with the key on engine off and see if you are set up right. Sometimes you will find something that is not getting the right voltage reading and put you in the right direction
Check here for the pinout voltages on the 2 plugs, the fist one is the one you want, although they are all handy to have. I printed them and keep them handy for future use.

It's deja vu all over again.

Get a carb. it's your only hope.

After driving with a carb for several years and wondering about doing tbi, all I can say is why did I wait for so long. tbi can be a pain in the butt at times but if you put the system together yourself and not buy a ready to install kit you learn more about the inner workings of it. I just the Rubicon this month with my tbi that I installed a month ago and loved it. No loading up at idle, bogging on hill climbs and when I stalled the engine she just started right back up. Well worth the work...

+1, just did mine. Install wasn't exactly easy, but it was worth it.

If the answers to his first post didn't help then a carb is the only way to go...

I don't know if you've read the top right corner of this board lately, but a carb is not the, "Only way to go" for extreme rockcrawling, in fact, it's pretty much worthless for the task unless it's a Q-jet.

Don't think you understood mine. This isn't a curb hopping or mud humping site. This is a site dedicated to extreme rock crawling. A carb has little place in such activity.

If someone can't diagnose fuel injection as simple as TBI, they probably can't diagnose carb problems either.
