I am looking for information on the Hell Hole Jeep trail. Who has run it and what is its difficulty rating? Any help would be appreciated.

I've run it once before and it's a fun little trail.. Not very difficult.. the scenary makes up for it.. but it's a loooong drive up there from Sacramento...

I dont know why this was moved. The mods in Rubicon forum seem to be a little heavy handed.

Were going to run Hell Hole this Saturday IF all goes as planned. Ive never ran it but I have friends who have. Im about 50 miles from it (ForestHill). The trail is only 4 miles long but is "rated as Difficult and not recommended for stock vehicles. 35"s ,good ground clearance and at least one locker are recommended".Ha Ha. My buddie is running 33"s with a locker and he walkes through it, so he says. But then again Ive seen stock vehicles make it through the Con...(in pieces) but it can be done.
If you want to make the run with us PM me. We will be leaveing Foresthill by 11am Sat and we plan on camping for the night and doing some fishing and returning on sunday.

Maybe because it has no relevance to the Rubicon trail??

Did you guys make it out there? I've never been there but we are thinking of checking it out this weekend. How hard for a full size to get through?
thanks

It is a Jeep trail. Hence it's a little narrow in a few places. Can you live with body damage?

Already have plenty of that... a little more isn't going to hurt.
Thanks for the heads up.

It's not as tough as the Rubicon, but if you want something light. I'd pick a diffIterent trail.

We just got back this evening, had a great time. The trail was a tad narrow, but it wasn't an issue. Look forward to going back again. http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/registry/5564/50849#content
