if it is a d60 and not a d50 then i would think that the knuckles out on a 97' F-350 or another balljoint d60 would get rid of the 500 dollar wheel bearings and the gay metric bolt pattern. But what would you do about the rear 10.5?

Dyna trac has a kit to convert to reagular wheel bearings, then you could use standard dana 60 bearing/hub units, you may even get dyna trac to swap them into your kit, instead of the 8 on 170mm stuff

I think the kit is around $1700.00. I know this because my passenger wheel bearing is going out. This has to be the worst design that I have seen.

so knuckles out off a older ball joint d60 will work?
i don't have the 10.5" sterling i have a 14bolt rear
and yeah its a 60 not a 50 i'd throw that away if it were one

IIRC the caster angle on the non Super Duty knuckles is all wrong for use on a SD axle housing.

since you're too cheap to do it correctly and safely, let me suggest an alternative that has been done. The new bolt pattern isn't really that much bigger than the old one. Redrill your wheels to the new metric pattern. It's only a little oblonging of the holes and they will slip right over the new pattern. I actually saw someone do this on their DD Sduty because he had just bought the wheels for another truck and decided to use themon the SDuty instead. He has driven around for several years like that now. But I do not condone this fix on a street driven rig. FWIW, you can buy wheels that actually fit your application for cheaply and it'll be much safer.

The same applies to your axle.
