I just picked up a CJ5 tub on a suburban frame, also I picked up a cj7 frame. The suburban frame is shortened but the spring hangers hang out the rear about 1 1/2 foot and the wheelbase is only 80 inches, and the cj7 frame needs a little work with some of the crossmembers. I am thinking it would be better to build a tube frame. Anyone got any pics they could share and some info they can share with me on building the frames I have or going to a totally built frame with sqaure tubing. Thanks.
