Samurai ??

I want to get my wife a Samurai , is there a year that is better than others , this will be her priamary grocery getter and wheeler , I am trying to get her involved into the sport , so I need to get her something she can enjoy , and she will also learn how to wrench on it:D and what price range should I expect , something already lifted would be a bonus:)

IMO the better years for samurai's is the '90 or newer but they're harder to come by. Mechanicaly they're all the same, same engines, tranny's, t-case, and axles and such. They're all easy to work on. In my neck of the woods you can find 'em as cheap as a few hundred bucks up to about 2500 for one that the owner is proud of. Hope this helps.
