Clutch will not disengage. Here is what I've got
91 350 from a V30 van, had a 4l80E behind it
SM465 from a 197x chevy 1/2 truck
Hydraulic master from a 88 chevy astro van
Slave from an 87 toyota something...I just had it laying around
I went to napa and ordered a flywheel for a 91 truck, and a clutch for an 77 with the 465 in it. Everything went together great.

So anyway you push the pedal down a little ways and then it just feels like a rock, if you push really hard it looks like the trowout fork is delfecting.
I have had it apart 3 times now and cannot find anything wrong
Any ideas?

Does the Toy slave have the same pressure/force and throw as the Chevy unit?

The TO bearing was the one that came with the clutch for the 77. It fits perfectly, hits the fingers just fine.

The slave is a little over 1" diameter, I will run the numbers on what kind of pressure I am getting to it.
Does anyone know how much force it takes to disengage the clutch?

Advanced Adapters makes a long throw arm to use a Toyota slave on a Chevy engine.

I fixed it.
I dont know how, I just took it all apart, and put it back together very carefully, now the pedal feels good and it disengages perfectly.
