2000 Silverado Fuel Problem? [Archive]

Full tank of gas / any level... get in you start and it reads low fuel (even tho its full)... you put it in D to take off and go and it reads "low fuel" but if you are at a stop light and you put it in PARK again and put it back in DRIVE then the low fuel light goes away and the gauge goes up to full.... and you are fine... WEIRD

ANyone had this problem before?

I believe the was a recall on that issue. I remember my buddy taking his chevy in for a goofy fuel guage.
