You will need to give us more info. Is this a lifted or stock vehicle? I know you said "stock" but I find it hard to believe that you're getting bump steer in a stock vehicle. You may be addressing the wrong area to fix it if you truly have bump steer, a steering dampner won't do jack to fix bump steer.

Are you getting wobbles in the steering wheel or is it pulling one way then the other when you hit a bump?

Bump steer is usually caused by the drag link not being close to parallel with the tie rod. Some folks make the mistake of lifting vehicles too high and leave the stock steering setup in place. When the vehicle hits a bump it will pull the wheel one direction then come down and move the wheel back. This is because the the drag link is not the proper length or angle.

If you have a lifted vehicle, most likely what you need is a cross over steering setup. See any suzuki vendor for this kit which includes the steering arms, drag link and tie rod to correct this problem and will set you back about $300. If your vehicle truly is stock and you're having weird shakes and wobbles then you may have an aligment or tire issue.

That's not bump steer. If your tires and balanced and not damaged you may have an alignment issue of some kind. Or, it could just be that your not used to zuks and how crappy they drive on the freeway! :D You will adjust to all the short comings like the rest of us and appreciate them for what they do well (road manners ain't one of them).

Seriously, have an alignment shop check it out and make sure the tires are ok.
