Those pics are much more revealing. Looks like some extensive custom tube bending. Great job.

Do you guys make all of your mods from scratch?

The problem with the two mounts is that no matter how much reinforcement u put.. their will be breakage over TIME. Reason is u mounted to the body that moves independent to the frame. The Body sits on Rubber mounts along the frame thus it does move independent of the frame somewhat... since u have now solidly connectd the frame and body at only that point there will by torge and loads at that point that will eventually break or wear something out.

To solve either take off the frame mount a "bolt" one on in it its place that sits on a rubber body bushing just like the body does. .. orr.. rubber bushings on he hinge pins on at least the frame mount. This would reqire u to use a larger diameter tube to sit over the frame pin to accomidate the new width of the Pin and bushings. Think of the pin and rubber bushings like a shock mount. The tire carrier is the shock layed sideways on a shock mount pin. U need bushings like those in the shock mount in this example.

I can understand ur and Camzaga's point but we cut him some slack around here since he is from Pakistan and provides us with some insights and insperation from his efforts to be a jeeper in that troubled part of the world. Those guys... are jeepers.. to the core.

I think you should look closer at your work before being so cocky. Your welds look like shit compared to the ones on the cherokee and so does that place where a rear bumper should be. Nice 235 85 16s hot shot, and we wont even go there on the whole Canadian thing. Another NEWBIE DUMBASS:flipoff2: :flipoff: :flipoff2: GO HOME TO JU

Hey Snatch Block........ why the jizz do you have a big ass spare tire, but little street tires? Most people put the big tires on the wheels that touch the ground first.

BIG Thanks EHSANKIANI !!! The pics are gr8! It looks like I will be using your idea here. 'Cept I am thinking of making two of them so they both open outward from the middle.

The only worth while thing Snatch dreamer posted was the idea of putting a 3rd brake light in the middle of the rim. BUT I haven't decided if its really :rainbow: or not. I'll probably post his pic on JU and see if they rave about it. If they do, FAWK IT .... he's a :bender: chasing :rainbow:!! WHEELINJP hit it right on the head ... to bad he didn't hit Snatch dreamer on the head!

The tires that I have on there are 35's for daily driving, the 38's are for wheeling.

Snatch Block-

A little advice, keep the shit talking to a minimum until you've been here long enough to know what this site is about. Obviously you don't.

I just don't understand the point of posting on a board if your main goal is to make enemies:confused: instead of contributing tech and learning.

Obviously I do know what the board is about! I have been lurking around for a bit, and all I see are people with GOD complexes all over the board. I will take some shit but not all. It wasn't my intent to have enemies, but if sticking up for myself causes this then oh well. I have lots to contribute to this board, the common attitude of the board is pretty much F*&# you and find it in the archives, If this is the case then this board shouldn't have a chat board, It should just be a tech data base.

I'm all for the fawk you attitude of the site and telling people to take it to JU when needs be.

I just don't get the popping into a post and showing your tire carrier like it's the best thing since sliced bread. I mean a YJ tire carrier out of box tube isn't that big of a deal. At least ehsankiani did some bending for his :D. I can't weld well either so I wouldn't go showing that thing off if I was you.

Now if you had custom bent tube and made a slick carrier out of it that held a 40" tire I could see bragging. But bragging about a box tube triangulated YJ carrier

Then talking smack some more to people who have been here a lot longer than you

Maybe you're not as hard core as you like to believe, so you don't know what this board is about:beer:
