I have one in the front of my flat fender and I am very happy with it. I have seen both front tires spin at the same time many times

rebuild it then youre race reddy
I love mine in the rear (factory) and both tires spin with one off the ground. I have head I havent had to thow is just slightly apply your E-brake for beter traction for the wheel thats on the ground
who ever told you the one rev story is an idiot.
the clutches are locked until you overcome them then it acts open.
I have one in the front axle, in the snow at hiway sppeds it is fun adding steering input until the clutches let go then back steering to negotiate the corner
limited slips are :rainbow: but the powerlok is the best of the ones available.

Powerlock IMO is a great device to protect your front end but i wouldnt run it in the rear.

I have PowerLocks front and rear in my EB. The front is great but the rear lets go (spins a tire) just when you need the traction the most. A tap on the brakes will sometimes lock it up, but not always.

don't waste the money, don't waste the time! they only work
good when they're freshly packed with cold grease in them!

As others have said, it's just another limited slip. I think it probably IS the best limited slip available though. However, don't plan on it working like a locker, it won't. If what you need and want is limited slip, this is the one to get. If you want to keep pulling up that water fall with one wheel hanging 2 feet in the air, get a locker... It all depends on what you want. Get the one that suits your needs, and you will be happy…

I bought one rebuilt with new springs and new clutches for the front of my old Dana 60. That diff worked awsome. I'd say go for it, it worked so well I blew the passanger hub once, cleaned all the teeth right off. Powertrack is one of the best limited slips!
