Anyone have the dimensions or better yet, a drawing of a YJ skid plate?

I need to have one built...

I think for the cost of the metal and the time required to fab one up, it would be better just to purchase an after market one. I think I paid $99.00?? on sale for a high clearance Skyjunker for my TJ. You YJ guys maybe different.

I have a BBC, TH400 and dual cases going into this rig. You think a Skyjacker one will fit? Got a link for the "Clearance Skid Plates"?

I have no idea  However here is the link http://www.4wheelerssupply.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/71488. I sure didn't think I paid anything close to $300.00 for this skid.

I have been considering the same mod, so far, I have only found teraflex and nth degree making flat skids for a YJ. 33 engineering is supposed to be working on one for the YJ. TJ and YJ have different bolt patterns. The Nth degree one is supposed to be for both.

Here you go, I'll draw up a diagram if it would help.

18" Front bolt to rear bolt on framerail
8.5" between bolt holes
20.5 total length

38" Across
34.75" From bolthead on one framerail to bolthead on the other framerail

Thanks. The diagram would help immensely.

Lots of custom skid ideas here. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=462043 Mine is at the end of page 2 and finished on page 3 now. I don't have any of the measurements as I only remembered them long enough to make my cuts.
