anyone seen these before?....
ive got a friend that has a completely stock samurai with factory "steel" flares....they look identical to the plastic ones ive always seen,...but these are steel,...ive never seen them before....was this a special option???

They came on the 89 and later efi sammys.

The newer or fuelie 90's models came with the steel flares.

That would explain why I thought I saw rusty flares in some pics of Samurais. I was like WTF, that thing is a complete rust bucket if it rusted through the plastic:question: :D
