I recently snapped an outer shaft in my CJ. It is a D44 housing from a Scout with F100 outers. I snapped a stub shaft and now I am looking for a new one. I do not want to go chromoly at this point. Since the F100 is going to be pretty rare around here at the junkyards, is there any other vehicles that I can get a stub shaft from that will work with my application???

dunno if the f100 is different from the 150's but i used to grab chevy shafts all the time, they worked for me just like stock ones, from what im told a 44 is a 44 only difference is the snap rig notch

The half ton 44 outters were all the same 73-79 and maybe before and after that.
