Visiting my best friend this weekend and he just called and said he has a project for me. He owns a 98 dodge ram reg cab 318 auto and just got a line on a wrecked 96 or 97 ram ext cab with a lift and other goodies on it. The salvage guy he knows to get whatever he wants off it. What all should we be grabbing off this thing. Is there a difference in these years that would not allow direct bolt ons or just take what we can. thanks for the help

The only difference between a 96/97 and a 98 would be the sway bar links. Get everything you can.
I don't know what "other goodies" are but pretty much everything will go from 1/2 ton to 1/2 ton in those years. Have fun.
