Looks like I'll be in the market for some liner. I want the firewall to tailgate sprayed. Has anyone used any of these companies?

Mine's Rhino lined. It seems to be much softer (easier on the knees when climbing in & out of the back) than the Line-X and does a great job of not letting crap slide around too much

That being said, I think I'd go with Line-X if I had to do it over as I think its a bit tougher, as I've gouged mine in a couple places.

Line-X seems to be the most resistant to chipping and scraping. I've seen several Rhino lined beds with damage. Rhino also tends to 'grey up' after extended sunlight exposure. I can't rememeber the last time I saw damaged Line-X.

Just did homework on this and picked Line-X. National warranty, and the least gripes I saw. I was told if I had pallets loaded by forklift regularly, it may scrape off some, but bring it back and they will reshoot it.

I went over the rails and am very happy with it. 2006 short bed CTD. They wanted $560, but came down to $500 pretty easily.

Line-X

I paid $450 over the rail for a 6' bed on my Dodge. I llike the texture better than Rhino Liner, and I haven't seen Line-X fade like the Rhinolined ones I've seen. Most Rhino lined beds I've seen look like faded cottage cheese. Take a lookat a few truck beds as you walk through a Lowe's or Walmart parking lot, you'll see what I mean.

Both Line-X and Rhinoliner have a nation wide warranty...I have no input on the Bullhide.

I have rhino in my dodge bed. Some of the knicks that were the size of dimes have grown to dinner plate sized holes. Lucky for me its been lined twice so its damn near 1/2" thick, and doesnt look too bad.

I would go with something harder. My buddy sprayed his own. I think it was called Piranah or something. He got it at the industrial finishes store. SUPER hard when dry, prep is key though. He did his whole tub for $110, but he had all his own spray equipment.

There is a top coat for the rhino that keeps it from fading. Some shops do it some don't ,you have to ask. The biggest thing is quality of work and prep ,no matter what brand so I would get info on your particular dealers rather than just general opinions.
My personal opinion on all the do it yourself stuff is it is a waste of time. They never seem to last.

Thanks for the info. I did some of the Hurculiner stuff about 5 years ago. Every time I took the high lift in or out it scuffed. I'd never use it or tell someone to use it. As with everything prep is key of course, thanks again. I'll start calling around next week when I get back home.
